Mr. Spangler’s presentation will cover:

  • General overview of how bed rates are set and RVU’s are assigned a dollar value

  • Discuss what revenue neutral means as it is applied to regulated services

  • How do costs for lab test performed in the regulated outpatient setting fit into the picture

  • Discuss any compliance concerns if a hospital chooses not to report the volume and costs of POC lab tests that are reported when they are performed in the main lab
