Recipe for a Successful Inspection examines the proven recipe for a successful inspection.  This recipe has been proven successful over time and many inspections by every credentialing agency.  Four simple ingredients can prepare any person in any location to meet the challenges of an inspection.

  • From the South: Denver
    Take I-25 North to the U.S. 34 west exit (257B - Loveland). Proceed west a short distance to the traffic light at Rocky Mountain Avenue. Go north (right) about one mile to Medical Center of the Rockies.

  • From the North: Laramie, Cheyenne, Scottsbluff
    Take I-25 South to the U.S. 34 West exit (257B - Loveland). Proceed west a short distance to the traffic light at Rocky Mountain Avenue. Go north (right) about one mile to Medical Center of the Rockies.

  • From the West: Loveland, Estes Park
    Take U.S. 34 East (Eisenhower Boulevard) through Loveland almost to I-25. Turn left (north) at the traffic light for Rocky Mountain Avenue. Drive about one mile until you reach Medical Center of the Rockies.

  • From the East: Greeley, Fort Morgan
    Take U.S. 34 West across I-25 and turn right (north) at the traffic light for Rocky Mountain Avenue. Drive about one mile until you reach Medical Center of the Rockies.

Ginger A. Baker, MS, MT(AAB) has over fifteen years experience in Laboratory Medicine.  Her roles have included bench generalist, educator, Point of Care Coordinator, manager, CAP inspector, and consultant.  She has authored articles on staff retention and point of care programs design as well as presented at local, regional, and national venues.  When asked why she chose this road and what drives her, Baker replied, “I love laboratory medicine.  We are so vital to the patient care process, and I want to build help the Lab step out and build appreciation for who we are and what we do.”
