About our Speaker:
Dr. Sharon
Ehrmeyer is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and
Director of the Clinical Laboratory Science Program at the
University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in
Madison, WI. Her research interests focus on laboratory and POCT
quality issues including the impact ofmandated regulations on
testing practices. She has written numerous journal, book
chapters, and web-based articles and has presented her research
nationally and internationally. Dr. Ehrmeyer previously served
for two terms on CLSI (NCCLS) Board of Directors. She currently
chairs AACC’s Government Relations
Committee, and is the Regulatory
Affairs section editor for Point of Care (the journal of
near patient testing and technology). |
