PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Piccolo is the first compact clinical chemistry system designed for near-patient testing. The analyzer has a very small foot print measuring 9.5 inches high, 6 inches wide, 11.5 inches deep. It weighs only 15 pounds. This makes the Piccolo very portable. In any treatment setting, care providers can now perform routine multi-chemistry profiles using a 100 µL of whole blood, serum or plasma with less than one minutes of hands-on time. Once you insert the disc into the Piccolo drawer you walk away. Results are provided in a "hard copy" report suitable for the patient's files or transferred to an LIS/EMR in less than thirteen minutes. This enables you to rapidly obtain critical diagnostic information at point of care. The easy-to-use, maintenance-free system requires no special training to operate.

The Piccolo self calibrates with each patient panel. The intelligent Quality Control (iQC™) system performs quality control checks on each sample, including on-board Q.C. monitoring to ensure chemistry and instrument integrity. This assures you the highest quality and accuracy in results.
