CORPORATE DESCRIPTION:

Response Biomedical, manufacturer of The RAMP® System, develops and markets immunoassays for clinical, pharmaceutical, industrial, environmental and agricultural applications.

The RAMP® System employs the Rapid Analyte Measurement Platform to detect and quantify virtually any analyte with the sensitivity and accuracy many hospitals experience with their central lab systems. RAMP is easy-to-use, cost effective, and delivers reliable results in less than 15 minutes for most assays. This point-of-care (POC) method is considerably faster than traditional laboratory results, and faster turn around translates to improved patient outcomes and reduced hospital costs. Tests are available for CK-MB, Myoglobin and Troponin I. NT-proBNP is currently available outside the US under license from Roche Diagnostics. CE marked. Not yet available for sales in US (FDA).
