Mitsubishi PATHFAST® Cardiac Biomarker Analyzer Now
Interfaced to
RALS®-Web3 Connectivity System for Point-of-Care
Testing
April
28, 2014, New York, NY and Charlottesville, VA – LSI Medience
Corporation (formerly Mitsubishi Chemical Medience
Corporation) and Alere Informatics, announce the
completion of an interface from the PATHFAST®
Cardiac Biomarker Analyzer to the RALS®-Web3
point-of-care (POC) data management system.
PATHFAST, manufactured by LSI Medience Corporation,
is sold through Cardinal Health, Inc. This cardiac
biomarker analyzer has a simple compact design and a
17 min turnaround time. It enhances patient care by
bringing outstanding precision and accuracy to
cardiac near-patient testing.
“While the goal of the PATHFAST is to provide
customers with accurate results and ease of use, by
adding connectivity to RALS®-Web 3, we can also now
provide them the option to improve their operational
processes as well,” said Tim Huang, Manager of US
Sales and Tech Support for the PATHFAST.
When interfaced to RALS-Web3 the PATHFAST® analyzer
transfers all patient results to a server where they
are evaluated and either sent directly to the
Laboratory Information System (LIS) or held for
review. The interface also enables users with the
ability to query RALS®-Web3 for patient and operator
information.
